- » The Tour of Elk Grove will be on the women’s National Racing Calendar. This is especially significant in light of previous criticism that the race gave short shrift to women’s fields.
» Speaking of women, an ESPN writer says we should know Jessi Prinner (ABD).
» Speaking of ABD, this morning it announced its 2011 elite squads, which will be two of the strongest around, including former pro Bryce Mead and several riders from Verizon u25, which after a phenomenal debut will not return this season.
» Results from this week’s Gapers Block Crits are available online.
» Chicago Bike Racing is scaling back this year but the CBR ride board is alive and well.
» Kenosha and Northbrook velodromes are both on the American Track Racing Association’s 2011 National Championship Series Schedule.
» Reports like this, this and this make me happy I live in Chicago. Suck it, New York.
