I hope so. Even some second-tier Euros would be fun to have. I’m not a UCI expert, but my worry is that this may limit some of the smaller domestic teams. I haven’t investigated the regulations yet to know whether that fear is founded or not.

It also might effect us non UCI racers “The Tour of Elk Grove has traditionally offered an opening 7.2 kilometre time trial, a 155 kilometre circuit race and a 110 kilometre criterium. However, this year’s UCI stage race will replace the closing criterium with a second circuit race held on a 10 kilometre loop to meet UCI regulations.”

Yeah I was wondering how that was going to work too.  They change the course from the crit->road race on the Sunday’s though (right?) so I can’t see why they would have a problem with doing it both days.

No Circuit of Sauk or Denzer in Wisco?
Or do you think these will be added later?

Bugger, you’re right. No more Sauk/Baraboo. Another great road race bites the dust.

But Denzer is there, as the Leland Grand Prix, May 14.
