» The Glencoe Grand Prix has released information about its 2011 race. Note that there will be a separate Cat 2 race for a Cat 2 state championship. (Cat 1 state championship will go to the first Illinois Cat 1 to finish the invitation-only P/1 race.) Registration opens Friday.
» The next race in the 2011 Illinois Cup is Saturday’s Sherman Park Criterium. Registration closes tomorrow.
» Registration is open for Monsters of the Midway as well as for the May 21-22 weekend of racing in Champaign: Saturday’s Rumble at the Reservoir and Sunday’s Downtown Champaign Grand Prix.
» Johnny Sprockets is hosting a Paris-Roubaix viewing party Sunday.

Dear Chris,

Thank you for your keen eye and feedback. We were just as shocked as
you that Leopard Trek’s design used blue and a bar in their identity.
Even more shocking was that Mercedes decided to sponsor this up and
coming team instead of us. I mean, we have been on the scene for at
least 6 months now. I’d be happy to review graphic design and history
timelines with you at your convenience. I wonder if the Cooking Channel is pissed at them too?
