OK, so I’m a Cat 2, and I weigh a little under 160 lbs. Let’s say I find a Cat 1 who weighs at least 30 lbs… could we ride a tandem? We’d be a combined 200 lbs and a combined Cat 3. We would be the clydesdalest of the clydesdales.

We will have to clear this with Rob and Fowkes, but Liam that seems sound to me.

I like the idea Liam….but I would like to see the average weight/rider be 190…so…get a cat 1 who weighs 220.  :)

Erik - I hear you….funny….I weigh 190.(...and won’t be racing :(

Pat - I’ll consider any category…as long as it’s not a juniors 10-13 250+...I am against childhood obesity.

As Luke has mentioned elsewhere, pretty much all the fields at FRG end up getting lapped by the leaders. Will all lapped riders be pulled in all the races?

Last time I raced it I raced it twice and was pulled both times before I got lapped.

I was lapped two years ago and was pulled.

Thanks guys, just trying to get a definitive answer since I’ve witnessed both scenarios over the years. Setting expectations and all. Last year a number of lapped riders in the Masters, M5s, juniors, and W4s were not pulled.

Pulled riders get placed, correct?

Yes.

P.143 5g(1)c: “Riders who have been pulled because of lapping or the
80% rule will be listed in the results based on their position
when pulled and the number of laps remaining. The results
will list the number of laps remaining after the lap on which
they were pulled.”
