I’m leaving tomorrow morning for my team’s winter camp in California, so posting will be light this week.

I’ll be missing the season-opening criteriums in Kenosha, but I’ll post wrap-ups as best I can. Feel free to help out by e-mailing me links to your reports or other observations.

That’s bogus. Why do you gotta post the forecast in front of everyone’s face like that? Punk.

...have fun, I’ll be jealous the whole time…

Hey at least the weather changes some. Ground hog day in CA!

ps. Be careful of the high on Sunday of 73 from 72 the day before.

Yeah, thanks for taunting all of us in the cold hellhole of the Midwest with the weather forecast from Cali.

Question is, do you deserve the Stoller Framepump for that?

(I kid, I kid...)

Those morning temps look they will make for uncomfortable early morning rides.  I can’t wait for my 2 week trip to Florida.  Yeah, you have hills, but I will have nice morning temps.

I can’t wait.

I was wondering if anyone did Kenosha today?  How was the racing, road cond etc.  I hope all went well.

It was cold.  It snowed a bit.  It was windy.  The course was in decent shape, all things considered.  There are some gaps in the pavement, quite a bit of sand on the course, but only saw one wreck (it does help when the fields are small, I suppose).
MAJOR kudos to the ABR staff for getting the course ready to race, and even bigger KUDOS to those fools for hanging out all day in the cold to watch over-zealous riders that have spent too much time on their trainers race in circles.

Sounds like you had easier than we did in Cali today. 72 degrees (it was SO hot), sunny (most of got sunburned), and 5K feet of climbing (and you thought Chicago was hilly...).
