It looks like we’ll have crits in March after all. Kenosha Velosport has released the flier for its March 9 and 16 races.

The 10-day forecast calls for partly cloudy with a high of 32 on the 9th.  Not ideal, but it should still be an excellent chance to get in some race miles, especially for those doing Hillsboro-Roubaix.

Well, I’m glad the racing is on but…

One mile flat industrial business park, no USCF upgrade points, No pre-Reg, short races, limited race opportunities and only medals…

I’ll go ‘cause I love to race but I know of another race that just happens to better Kenosha in each of the aforementioned areas…

;)

(c’mon, can you blame me…)

Wow! I just noticed that a Cat 5 could potentially race 2 or even 3 times at that race Julian speaks of.  Luke, you gotta love that!!

Fortunately the dates do not conflict, so there’s no reason not to enjoy both early-season tune-ups.

Besides, Kenosha is closer. :)

And in the past, ABR has always been, umm, “fluid” about categories, so it’s not inconceivable to race multiple times there.
