What’s the best kind of girlfriend for a cyclist to have? That kind who’s so busy with law school that she wants you out of the house for entire weekends at a time. And so it is that I’ll be heading to Fayetteville, Ark., in a few weeks for the legendary Joe Martin Stage Race. Who else is going? I think I’m set, but feel free to use this post to offer or solicit rides and hotel space.
I’m pretty sure I’m going to be there, but I’ll be driving from Nebraska and staying with friends. So really, I can’t help anyone with anything.
If you are in Wisconsin or IL and are still trying to get the transportation thing hammered out - give me a shout. I am going down, have housing for myself and only one other person, and am looking for someone to split the costs/boring drive with. I am racing from the 8th to the 11th and will be headed back after that. I want to be down there by Wed. night, and the trip home can be as slow as ya please.
