You know, Ortega sent me a message saying the Wednesday ride will certainly calm down as we get back into the swing of things this spring. I agree, and I’m confident tonight’s ride will be just great. See you there!

On often over the years regarding rides people seem to complain and talk of leaving or doing the ‘special’ group ride....what we need is the group to police together and pressure the idiots to conform, together..... mutterring to a friend ‘this is whacked’ is not helpful....speak up and support what we know to be right.  Keep coming out and keep up the fight for fun, crazy, fast rides with some decorum where it is required otherwise we will all be riding alone with or without our powa meters !  We really have some great rides, let’s work to keep them and make them even better, together.  See you on the MIDWEEKEGEM ! and JUDSON, and PIZZAHUT and ALBERTOS, and MAFIA and .....

Jerry - I’ll neva abandon the MIDWEEKEGEM!  It just sucks when people do really stupid stuff...like tonight when a guy crossed double yellow with an oncoming car in plain view.  I yelled, but is me yelling going to even effect that person?  I doubt it. 

And the cop pulling everyone over at the big tree sprint?  Well, that was just funny.  It was like turning the lights on, and all us cockroaches scattered.  Flee!

It was sort of better tonite, eh? .......still weird how the force of darkness forces them to do evil.  I don’t think the cop pulled anyone over....he just was saying single file on the speaker.....that way since we are doing better than the speed limit we are strung out forever so the cars have to really speed illegally to pass us within inches of our shoulders.....makes perfect sense.  ahhhh....another great ride.
