» As you may have read in The New York Times, cyclocross “has recently caught fire” in the United States. Get it while it’s hot by coming out to Sunday’s state championships at Montrose Harbor. A “light wintry mix” is forecast, which should make the racing extra sloppy and spectator-friendly, but it should be warm enough that you don’t freeze your butt off. I am a dumbass…

An English language idiom for Wednesday is “hump day”, a reference to making it through to the middle of the work week as getting “over the hump”. It is also informally referred to as “the peak of the week”. Another popular tradition in the United States is to wear a sweater vest on this mid-week business day. This has led Wednesday to be referred to as Vestday.

...ahhh, now I feel better.

do yourself a favor and go see The Bicycle Men at the Lake Shore Theater. I am not just saying this because John Rubano is a good friend. I went to see this show in LA with my wife and we both loved it. In fact the whole audience was rolling in the aisles. Besides how many theatrical performances are you ever going to see that are so cycling specific?
