- » Local riders Bob Schrank and Alex Bowden were part of this years Team Type 1 team in the Race Across America. They finished Tuesday morning with a 22.5 mph average. Their 5-day, 13-hour and 40-minute performance was good for 2nd, just a few hours out of first place.
