Regarding Kanye hatin’ on Zipps: He’s undoubtedly referring to the Roland TR-808, a drum machine that was ubiquitous in early hip hop production. There’s a lot of nostalgia attached to it, so it’s not surprising that Kanye, an artist who celebrates those ‘good old days’, would refer to it in his album title.
Kanye does ride a track bike though (A Cinelli Vigorelli), so maybe he’s aware of the double-entendre.
