» The Northbrook Cycle Committee and Yojimbo’s Track Cats are hosting a junior track clinic this Sunday. All juniors 10-18 are welcome, regardless of experience or team affiliation. Loaner bikes are available if arranged in advance.

Does anyone know if Cat 5’s can compete in the Allvoi Pursuit Cup individual or team pursuit races for the Cat 3/4 designation?

In a prior post, and on the WDT website, it lists a combined 3/4/5 field, but the registration link only states Cat 3/4 field.

Some of our riders are interested in participating in the June and July races, but will not have upgraded to Cat 4 yet. Any help or clarification would be great.

There is no problem with pursuit events.Cat 5 will race with 3/4. We are changing this on"registration ” page now… However, we still need permition from officials for a “mass starts” event. Sorry for confusion.

Another question for WDT: Will a pre-purchased northbrook number be necessary? Doesn’t sound like it with the looks of the cat 5 scenario, but we just wanted to be certain.
