Because of lingering snow and ice in Kenosha, Wis., the March 2 opener of the Kenosha Velosport Spring Training Series (nee Parkside) has been canceled. Weather permitting we’ll have crits to look forward to on March 9 and 16.
My understanding is that it’s the same course as the fall Kenosha crit. That would be the Kenosha Business Park.
Who wants to go scout the course?
I sent Bob Lundberg that question last week, i.e. “why no venue announcement?” He replied that the first week was going to be canceled but offered no answer as to what the venue was going to be for weeks 2 & 3. In November at the ABR Awards Bob said that it might be the Business Park but that they were also looking at another location that would provide indoor facilities for changing and warming.
