» Former XXX Racing-AthletiCo rider Greta Neimanas (Exergy Twenty12) and Joe Berenyi (ABD) have been named to the U.S. cycling team for the London Paralympics. Check out ABD’s Facebook page for information on its fundraising to help Berenyi bring his family to London, including a benefit at tonight’s training criterium in West Chicago.

» Pre-registration for Tour of America’s Dairyland closes tonight at midnight. Day-of fees are $10 per race.
» Registration is open for Superweek, which this year will be sanctioned by ABR and include a mystery “Tour de Chicago” race on Saturday, July 7.
» Why you should pre-register early. As one local promoter has noted, solid pre-registration allows promoters to spend the weeks ahead of a race tending to production rather than promotion. That yields a better event for everyone.
» The South Chicago Wheelmen’s Tuesday night series will take place at the Joliet Autobahn on Tuesday, June 26.
» Racing at the Northbrook Velodrome tomorrow night will include the 100-lap Tomasz Pac Memorial Points Race, sponsored by PACT-Dish Network.
» Wednesday night track practices for juniors start tonight from 6-7:30.
