About the Ride Board
Getting to races shouldn’t be the most expensive part of our day. The Ride Board exists to ligthen that burden by connecting drivers with passengers. Let’s save gas and make some friends along the way.
- Chicago Bike Racing accepts no responsibility for anyone who contacts you through the Ride Board, nor for any music they may play during the ride. If they get grease on your upholstery, lose their way or ask you on a date, it’s not my fault.
Juniors, please do not use this service without the case-by-case approval of your parents. I don’t want any Amber Alerts showing up in my race wrap-ups.
Safeguards have been taken to protect your e-mail from spam.
Passengers are expected to offer money for gas and tolls and to buy their driver’s coffee. (Drivers are free to decline.)
Chicago’s a big place. Please indicate which neighborhood you are leaving from.
The times provided refer to the hours you expect to be in competition. Naturally, you and your carpool pals will want time beforehand to register and warm up, and you will want time afterward to change and wait for prize money.
The Ride Board assumes that you are seeking or offering space for one passenger, one bike and one gear bag. If you have additional availabilities or restrictions, please mention them in the notes.
For overnight trips, the notes can be used to indicate housing opportunities.
Although CBR focuses on the road, the Ride Board can be used for all disciplines, including track, cyclocross and mountain bike.
If you make a mistake, please delete your entry to submit a new one.
Once your listing is no longer available, please delete it. (Entries are automatically deleted once the race has passed.)
An RSS feed is available. Subscribe to receive instant notification of available rides and ride partners.
The Ride Board will be as useful as you want it to be. Please e-mail me with any problems or concerns.
